The fifth annual T’was the Bite Before Christmas, in support of the Mississauga Food Bank, is getting ready for another year to end hunger in the community.
This year Amadio’s Pizza will be hosting a fundraiser beginning November 19. For every pick-up and delivery order, Amadio’s will be donating $1 to T’was the Bite Before Christmas.
Amadio’s customers have the option of matching Amadio’s $1 donation, or beating it by donating any amount over $1.
The goal is to raise $5,000 by the fundraiser end date on December 22.
Other local establishments fundraising for T’was the Bite include Ten Restaurant and Wine Bar who will be cohosting Tens at Ten, a Womens Christmas Networking with Councillor Bonnie Crombie on November 25; and the Pump House Grille and the Clarkson Pump who will be hosting a Turkey Dinner Day on November 28 and will be donating proceeds to T’was the Bite.
T’was the Bite Before Christmas is a fundraising initiative set out by prominent Mississaugans who were concerned about hungry children in the city. T’was the Bite comprises of a launch and wrap party, a carnival and tree lighting at Lakeaffect, a Christmas breakfast at La Villa Bakery, a turkey dinner hosted by Graham Chittenden and much more!
