The Paint the Town Red Port Credit Community Association is holding their first ever Spring Fling concert at the Army Navy Air Force Club in Mississauga. The night consists of some of Canada’s best tribute bands playing to help raise funds for the PTTR Canada Day parade and celebrations. Bands playing include The Rattles, The Bayou Boys, Bessars Banquet, as well as special guests Jeff Scott as Buddy Holly and Kelly Vohnn.
Be sure to check out Port Credit on July 1 for Paint the Town Red’s Canada Day celebrations and events. The day will begin with their Canada Day Parade at 11:00 a.m. led by Peel Regional Chief of Police Jennifer Evans and local blues star Chuck Jackson. Featuring various floats, marching bands and even retro cars, this is one parade you won’t want to miss! After the parade, watch another concert by tribute bands and stick around for the cutting of the Canada Day cake. Lastly, the night goes out with a bang, quite literally at the fireworks show.
The Paint the Town Red Spring Fling will be held on Thursday April 17 from 7:00 p.m. to midnight at the Army Navy Air Force Club (765 Third St.). Tickets for this event cost $35 each and all proceeds will go towards their Canada Day celebrations.
