Fall fashion show is about fun as much as style.
If you base your view of fashion shows on what you’ve seen from Fashion Television featuring young models apparently unaware of anything in front of them (especially the audience), then you’re in for a surprise.
On September 20, residents at Palisades on the Glen demonstrated an emerging phenomenon. Mature models took to the catwalk and exchanged quips with audience members consisting of their friends at the stylish retirement residence that overlooks the Sawmill Valley.
At Palisades on the Glen, residents enjoyed getting together for an entertaining fashion show designed for them, featuring the hottest fall trends including vibrant sweaters, embellished tops and relaxed pantsuits, all from popular Tan Jay and Alia women’s clothing store in Mississauga. It was clearly demonstrated by these Palisades models that you’re never too old to be a fashionista and to try something new!
