The Art Gallery of Mississauga hosted the 33rd annual Visual Arts Mississauga Juried show of Fine Arts. The jury noted the captivating and commanding work evident in the 187 entries and of course found deciding on winners very difficult.
Circling the gallery over and over again, they looked for work that would surprise and make a statement evidencing the artist’s experience and point of view.

- ‘Marsella’s Muse’ by Irene Hunchak offers a delightful use of form and like most of the pieces, is available for purchase.
- Steven Volpe won first prize for ‘Anthem’, a very intriguing composition in oil on canvas.
- Susan Dain won First Honourable Mention for Lock, part of her locks and canals series of acrylic paintings
