Hello, art lovers! Above is a video from the Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) calling out to everyone for submissions for this year’s MARTY Awards!
This is the 19th year for the MARTY Awards, which honour and support established and emerging artists in the community for their achievements.
This year’s ceremony will be held on Thursday May 9, 2013 at the Living Arts Centre, in Hammerson Hall. The red carpet happens at 6:00 p.m., and the show starts at 7:00 pm.
Deadline for submissions is February 4, at 4:00 pm. That means you’ve got two and a half weeks, so check out the video and get a nomination package at the MAC website.
